Hi!
I'm an engineering student at the University of Waterloo majoring in Honours Systems Design Engineering and pursing a minor in Psychology. My passions are the design and implementation of biomedical devices, the health care industry, and the human mind. The courses I have completed thus far in my undergraduate career have varied from linear systems and signals, human factors, introduction to design, developmental psychology and digital logic.
In engineering at the University of Waterloo each student partakes in four month co-op terms. In my past terms I have worked at St. Michael's Hospital (Toronto, Ontario) and Apotex, Inc (Toronto, Ontario).
Outside of my studies my focus is on athletics. I am a member of the University of Waterloo varsity field hockey team. I also play in field hockey summer leagues and I coach both indoor and outdoor teams. Soccer, ultimate frisbee, and golf are my other sports of choice. My next athletic goal is to run a half marathon in the near future.
The picture in my background is from my visit to the Public Gardens in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
