I am a passionate student in the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) Master's degree program at DePaul University in Chicago. This past summer, I interned as an UX professional at a software company called Acenonyx. I was the only UX expert in a twenty person team and worked directly with my supervisor to design site maps, mockups, and high-level prototypes based on his ideas for new hospitality and insurance databases.

After this opportunity and completing my first year of the HCI program, which included various UX projects for which I have interviewed and observed users, I can honestly say that I have chosen the right field. I genuinely enjoy creating positive user experiences by translating complex ideas into effective, intuitive, and enjoyable solutions based on the users’ needs.

Before moving to Chicago for school, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Information Systems at Towson University. I also worked as an Administrator Coordinator at Johns Hopkins University where I worked directly with the head of the department and faculty members on various projects such as creating and updating websites for their research groups.
