Virginia Anne Newton

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Political Science, Virginia joined the entertainment industry working in both film and television. Her career lead her from Nashville to Los Angeles where she worked behind the scenes for Dick Clark Productions before joining the TV Guide Channel as a field producer, interviewing celebrities from film, television and sports. In 2003 Virginia moved to Munich, Germany, where she worked as the Finance & Contracts Manager for an aeronautical engineering firm based at the German Space Operations Center. In the fall of 2015, Virginia followed her passion for food to Copenhagen where she began working as Director of Media Relations & Special Events for 3 Michelin-starred Restaurant Geranium. She spent 8 wonderful years with Geranium as they achieved their 3rd Michelin star and became #1 on the World´s 50 Best Restaurants list. In the summer of 2023 she moved to a tiny village in Switzerland and began working with Chef Andreas Caminada of the Caminada Group as Director of Communications and Strategic Partnerships. For family reasons, she relocated to the United States in May 2024 and opened Virginia Newton Communications.
