Tony Thompson

Tony Thompson is a great example of what happens at the intersection of gift, skill and passion. He has been a musical director since age 12 and he has had a passion for music ever since he was old enough to hold a microphone. With over 30 years of experience in choral music Tony has garnered a reputation in Atlanta for achieving excellence in vocal and choral music. He completed his bachelor’s degree in music education and performance at Oakwood University in Huntsville Alabama. Tony is one of the founding members of Atlanta’s premier a capella group Atlanta’s Chorale New Creation. He has directed and toured with choirs all over the United States. He has recorded 4 albums and several videos for the 3 Angels Broadcast Network. He led his choir to sing in Washington D.C. during a presidential inaugural event in 2008. Tony has recorded and produced music with 6-time Grammy award winning producer Mervyn Warren (former member of Take 6) He has mastered the art of bringing out the best in vocalist & choruses. Most of all Tony, recognizes that music is essential to the human spirit.
