After his photography studies on FAMU and graphic design studies on UMPRUM in Prague he worked as an assistant for various photographers in Warsaw/Poland in fashion and product industry. In his professional work he cares about the idea in the first place and he tries to avoid “empty” products with no soul or story to tell. He is capable to do everything from setting the light on the set to detailed retouching and colour managing the pictures for printing. He worked on billboard campaigns for HOUSE, 4F, Tallinder, Sisley etc.

He spent 3 years working for international collective of documentary photographers Sputnik Photos (www.sputnikphotos.com/) where he helped to produce photography books and exhibitions around the world as well as to take care about websites and technical background of the collective. He also took the part in lecturing and editing pictures with students on Sputnik’s mentorship programmes.

He merges professional career with personal projects which are focused on his fascinations. His work between 2014 and 2016 on the Czech Air Force base resulted in the book about his love to fly which was awarded The Best East European Photobook in 2016, Self Publish Riga - First Award, Book of the Week on Photo-Eye and shortlisted for Anamorphosis prize (as a result the book is included in MoMa library and Franklin Furnace Archive). The book was also mentioned by Mark Power and Anouk Kruithof on their Favourite Photobooks of 2016 lists.
