Early Days:

starting 1965 with punch cards in a big IBM computercenter, 1966 moved as a consultant/programmer to Philips-Data-Systems, working with the first it generation of computers. Responsible for customers in Germany. Development of applications (e.g. payroll with 4 KB memory), written by one-address-assembler.

Going On:

as one of the youngest CIO in 1969 with a German private bank, working with the second it-generation NCR Century 100-300 and responsible for all banking applications.

From 1977 I was the CIO of a wallpaper company nearby Heidelberg, working with ICL hard-and software, next step in 1983 was it-project manager in Heidelberg, responsible for implementation of the hr-standard software PAISY and SAP's R/2 Application FI/CO.

Touch SAP-HR:

starting as the first sap-hr-consultant in 1987 at SAP Walldorf, for consulting, training and hotline. Consultant for the first R/2 sap-hr-customer and R/3 sap-hr clients , responsible for more than 25 projects from 1987 until 1995, e.g. BASF,HOECHST, GRUNDIG, SIEMENS, ABB, HYPO-BANK, TUEV, DRESDNER BANK.

Going International:

after a call from Siemens France in 1996 (Siemens was running Peoplesoft worldwide!), I created a "MINI-SAP-HR" for the integration to SAP's CRM. this solution was delivered to many Siemens companies round the world, e.g. for SAP-HR administration, timemangement and payroll ... As the global sap-hr-consultant and sap-hr-project manager, responsible for sap-hr in Siemens worldwide from Argentina to china, together with my colleques from the sap country divisions and consultants from other international consulting companies.

Change to Freelance:

In the middle of 2002, the Siemens job was done; more than 70% of the worldwide employees are running with SAP-HR, I changed my permanent SAP contract to a freelance contract.

Going Mobile;

2009 Apple iPhone with iOS has started and I created together with friends and partner the first hcm business apps (without any middleware)
