Slava Volman

Slava Volman has a natural skill and love of caring for and educating children. Starting out his career as a kindergarten teacher and after school elementary school child care provider, he eventually opened his own facility, Shooting Stars Daycare, in 1993. Loved and admired by parents and teacher alike, his daycare remains a popular choice for parents in need of daycare for their children.

Slava Volman earned his bachelor's degree in Elementary education and went on to attain his Master's degree. With a true passion for the education of children, he began his career in child care as a kindergarten teacher. He soon became the favorite of parents and widely respected by the teachers and administration in his district. When budget cuts hit his school district he took over the responsibility of heading up the elementary school's after school child care program.

After working for many years as both a kindergarten teacher and daycare provider, Salva Volman knew he wanted to branch out and open his own daycare center. After researching tirelessly to be sure he met all of the requirements for owning a daycare facility he opened his child care center, Shooting Stars Daycare, in 1993. His daycare started out small, with only 3 to 4 children a day being cared for. Eventually, as the word spread of the excellent environment that Shooting Stars Daycare provided, the number of children reached around 20.

With his childcare center growing rapidly, Slava Volman knew he needed to expand from his original location. He purchased a new building to accommodate his growing clientele. Today, he enjoys providing quality education to children along with two additional childcare providers at Shooting Stars Daycare. Through educational play, he focuses on helping children build the self-confidence they need to make life choices and become life-long learners.
