Voncile Harrell is 21 years old looking forward to obtaining a degree in criminal justice with a concentration in Homeland Security. She was born on January 24, 1992 to Alisa and Ronnie Wilson. She is from the small town of Plymouth, NC; where most people never get a chance to leave or experience the college life. So once she is finish with college she will not return unless it is to visit family. Once becoming a senior in high school she decided that she wanted to go into the military but upon graduation and also due to procrastination she changed her mind to follow in a few family members steps to attend North Carolina Central University.

In order to break out of her shy shell she decided to join NCCU CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). The purpose was to assist professional emergency services personnel during the immediate aftermath of a natural or man-made disaster. During this process she learned how to talk to others without being so nervous and volunteer with helping NCCU police department out

Since becoming an eagle she has maintained good grades until her sophomore year when she wasn’t sure if she wanted to continue being a college student. She was beginning to wonder if choosing to go to college was the right decision since her passion was to serve in the military. After talking and getting the motivation from her mother she is now a senior with excellent grades graduating in the spring of 2014.
