I am a customer service career professional with a work history in library employment, high level government service, and document support namely records, documents, data, scanning, redaction, accounts, and cyber security.

I have a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Portland, where I specialized in the 19th Century, Women's History, Fashion History, and Medieval-Renaissance culture. I wrote my Master's Thesis on the History of Women's Millinery.

I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Portland with a triple major in English, Psychology, and History and a minor in French.

Since 2023, I have served as the Regional Coordinator of the Oregon-SW Washington Region of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA). Previously, I served 6 years as Secretary. I am also the Website Manager.

In 2025, I directed a statewide proclamation celebrating Jane Austen's Birthday on December 16th. I also inventoried donations from an estate and secured permanent museum placement at Chawton House Museum for several rare documents and books relating to Jane Austen and other historical women writers.

In 2016, the Oregon-SW Washington Region awarded me a Tribute Grant to attend the JASNA AGM (annual general meeting) conference. In 2010, I served as a Registration Assistant for the JASNA AGM in Portland.

I have presented at 4 meetings for the Oregon-SW Washington Region on Jane Austen in 1803 and 1817, Jane Austen's Creativity, and the book, Living With Jane Austen by Janet Todd.

Additionally, I am a holiday decorator for Pittock Mansion for the 2026 theme of "Holidays Around the World." As the lead coordinator for my region, I created a vision board for our design concept titled, “A Yuletide Regency Christmas” for 2 rooms at the Gate Lodge.

My memberships include: Jane Austen Society of North America (life membership); Regency Fiction Writers; Romance Writers of America (RWA)--of which I have PRO status; and Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society (life membership).

My publishing credentials include: regional event news for the national publication JASNA News; blog posts for JASNA Oregon & SW Washington Region; writing articles in RWA newsletters; a 10,000 word short story romance for the confessions market; book reviews for The Gothic Journal and The Regency Realm; an essay for The Finnish-American Reporter; poetry, and an archived M.A. Thesis.

I also write paranormal romance with a twist (both contemporary and historical) as yet unpublished; historical nonfiction, especially women's history; short stories; and poetry.
