Hi! My name is Valicio Palha (its okay, you can call me Val).
Who am I?
I am someone who is tech-savvy, and loves to be one step ahead of the curve. I would confidently say that this is a reflection of who I am; my colleagues and friends have always called me the “tech support guy.” Now, I’m not too sure if it has to do with my nationality, or the fact that I look like I belong behind a desk. But, at the heart of it, it comes down to the fact that I love helping others in ways that don’t involve asking, “Did you turn the computer tower on and off?”
Most people would say that technology is constantly evolving. However, I also believe that our needs as human beings are growing, and we are developing the tools that will cater to said needs. In order to work with technology, one must first understand it. However, knowledge only provides so much that it truly comes down to experience. Therefore, I look forward to applying my own experience at the workplace, but I also look forward to having the opportunity to learn. Simply said, technology is the science behind a tiny chip that can make a difference in saving someone’s life, or just helping me get to work on time.
