In todays competitve world, there is still a piece of pie for everyone and anyone who is willing to work for it. Some may have more opportunities then others, none the less some of the wealthiest people started out with very little and now are millionaires and billionaires in a number of industries.

As a young adult one of my goals is to minimize the size of inequality in the world. A second goal is to become a tycoon, own a little of everything, because while owning one cash cow is great, owning six or twelve of them is even better. Putting all your eggs in one bascket is also good way to be sure to lose it all at once rather then a percentage at a time. So a diverse portfolio is a worry free porfolio in the long run when you lose investments in one account you still have money growing in another, hopefully.

Finally don't wait for change to happen, make it happen now as it may help someone in the long run. Life is to short to wait for anything to just happen.
