Venkat Ramaswamy

I am an independent Simons Fellow affiliated to the Simons Centre for the Study of Living machines at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, which is part of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Bangalore, India.

Before this, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow with Haim Sompolinsky at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I graduated with a Ph.D. from the University of Florida where I was advised by Arunava Banerjee.

I work primarily in Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience.
