Product Manager 2 in India

Let's Connect

There's a version of me that exists only on paper.

Five years at Microsoft. Product Manager 2. The kind of bio that makes people nod at networking events and move on.

Then there's the real one.

The girl who did karate before she could drive. Who played competitive badminton with something that looked a lot like fury. Who swam laps and practiced piano scales until her fingers ached. Who collected trophies and academic distinctions the way some people collect excuses.

She grew up. She got the impressive job. And then, somewhere in the middle of all of it, she quietly started wondering if she'd left the most interesting parts of herself behind.

I am Vritika. I live in Goa, which is as chaotic and beautiful as it sounds and I work as a Product Manager at Microsoft. I spend my days solving problems that don't have clean answers, and I have come to genuinely love that.

But this page isn't really about the job.

It's about the woman who, somewhere in her late twenties, decided she was done coasting on who she used to be. Who learns various languages not for elementary proficiency, but to know more about different cultures. Who is super excited to try new products and building some of her own hoping to make the users smile. Who is writing a book. Who keeps a Rejection Jar, because she decided that hearing "no" more often is the fastest route to somewhere interesting. Who is learning slowly and sometimes uncomfortably, that becoming someone you're obsessed with requires more courage than competence.

I write. I travel. I build. I have opinions about skincare that border on academic. I rewatch K-dramas looking for something I probably already know. I eat well and without apology. I am learning to speak in rooms that scare me.

Over on Instagram as @thecherryblossomsoul, I share the unedited version of all of this - the ambition and the awkward, the milestones and the mess. It's a space for those who are also in the middle of becoming something, even when they're not quite sure what that something is yet.

If that sounds like something you want more of, welcome. Let's connect!
