Veronica Dawkins is a visionary with an extensive background in live stage production. Hailing from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Boston MA with degrees in both Music Engineering and Music Business, coupled with 15 years of international live music touring expertise Veronica is armed with all of the tools of a great leader. Her sharp skills in stage and set design sets her apart from her competition. Veronica passion for great music shows began at the tender age of 15 when she was accepted for excellence in vocals and music to the Greater Hartford Academy of Arts on a merit scholarship. It was there that she found her niche and began amazing her audiences on stage as a singer and actress, which led to her moving on to Berklee College of Music on a jazz soloist scholarship. Veronica began touring nationally while at Berklee. Her skills were sharpened on her first international tour, a Michael Matthews play called "Secret Lovers". For the next decade she toured as a vocalist and became widely know in her industry as the "Little Lady with the BIG Voice". This was a title she proudly and affectionately earned and wore. While on tour and performing in shows with the likes of Alicia Keys, Robin Thicke, Kelly Rowland, Patti LaBelle, Celine Dion,The Boston Symphony Orchestra, David Foster, the Three Tenors and countless others Veronica could not help but hone in on her behind-the-scenes talent learning everything from tour management to stage design. It was only natural that she was to begin apprenticing with the music industries top lighting engineers and designers, sound engineers and producers and learn every inch of the skills on how to produce the top shows. As the owner and founder of New York Music Tours, Veronica produces and performs all over the world. Venues such as the Sydney Opera House in Sydney Australia, Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Kabuki Theater in Tokyo, The Coco Cola Dome in Johannesburg South Africa, The Royal Court Theater in London are some of the performances she has had the privilege to leave her personal fingerprint.
