Vassilis Sideropoulos

I am a Mental Health researcher with over 5 years of experience as a data specialist.

My research endeavours are all centre on the field of mental health. My primary areas of focus are on anxiety, depression, and loneliness in neurotypical and neurodivergent populations, such as young and older people with Autism, Down Syndrome, and Williams Syndrome.

Secondary interests are a) on the mental health and educational trajectoriesof school as well as postgraduate research students and b) the development of randomised optimisation trialsfor behaviour change interventions, such as those aimed at smoking cessation.

I am very passionate about research-based education and open science. My teaching interests centre on the areas of mental health, research skills, open science and design of research.
