Sports have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember and I have always had the ability to excel, mainly in Lacrosse. Out of High School, I was excited to continue my career at the collegiate level, but was unaware of what I would become apart of and the attributes I would begin to develop and enhance.
Being a student-athlete has allowed me to become passionate about a few things. One is the privelage of being apart of a team. Secondly, in a more broad sense, is the desire to execel in all aspects of my unique college expierence and life.
I am a firm believer that being apart of team teaches many life lessons through the adversity faced and the constant teamwork day in and day out. Perfection is the goal, and the 20+ hours a week, 6 to 7 days a week is worth it when you win the biggest game of the year. The mindset of striving for perfection has carried over into my everyday life. I like to think through balancing a full academic schedule and being a student athlete, I have become a very driven, self-sufficient individual with great leadership, time management, and team-oriented qualities. I am convinced that this will give me a great chance to succeed out of college!!
