Veronica Tseng-Donald

I have been a Business Process Transformation Consultant specializing in process improvements in the Quote to Cash cycle. I was a subject matter expert and the Asia Pacific Process Lead on many of IBM’s internal SAP transformation projects where I had the opportunity to deploy large, complicated projects around the world. My interest in process reengineering began at university where I studied Operations Research. I love delving into complex problems, analyzing details, drawing up process flows, designing solutions and optimizing for efficiencies. When people are so entrenched in executing their own work, they rarely know or appreciate how what they do contributes to the overall end to end process. When I walk through process maps with stakeholders, I enjoy those “ahh” moments when they see how all the processes finally come together.

I have also been a small business owner of a franchise in the Hair & Beauty industry owning a salon in the north-western suburbs of Sydney. This gave me invaluable, hands-on experience in a variety of general business, retail & customer service skills where I performed everything from staffing & training, payroll, financing, contract management & negotiations, supply chain management, marketing & advertising, government compliance (withholding tax, GST, superannuation, industrial relations and work, health & safety), accounting & budget management, and implemented process and systems improvements.

Like many people who live here, I have a keen interest in the Sydney property market; following the buying & selling of property, investing in & managing property and strata communities. Up until retiring, I was also a licensed Buyer’s Agent.
