I’m Branka Vuleta, I have a Bachelor of Laws degree, and I work as a Project Manager at WhatToBecome.com.

After working in Prague for the first two years of my professional life, my wanderlust (and copious amounts of movie watching) led me to take up a position in Los Angeles, California where I joined a startup full-service digital agency. This position was my introduction to both digital marketing and project management, and also the art of bootstrapping and doing everything under the sun while trying to get a startup off the ground.

During this time I came across a friend from Prague that worked for WhatToBecome.com; a serendipitous coincidence? I think not. I managed to help my friend with some of their management woes and was thankfully able to provide them with effective solutions to help them kickstart their business.

The advice I gave actually paid off for the client, and a year later, I was offered to leave the palm trees of California, and return to Prague. As much as I loved my homeland, being asked to exchange California for Europe in a level side-step of Digital Marketer to Digital Marketer, didn’t seem worthwhile. So I politely declined.

A month later, I was again approached by WhatToBecome.com but with a pot sweetened from Digital Marketer to Project Manager. This, combined with the promised freedom of my potential roles—allowing me to incorporate my passion for helping people into my professional life—led me to make the leap back across the ocean.

Upon returning to Prague, I faced many challenges. Although this wasn’t my first rodeo in the digital marketing world, I had to adapt to a new and challenging ecosystem. But after a few hiccups, and a boatload of perseverance, I was able to not only embrace my new role but began to thrive in it. Now, through best productivity practices, I’m able to help and modernize not only my current company but all the businesses that it touches as well.

When I’m not being a “cat mom” to my furry baby, I enjoy playing beach volleyball (mostly indoors these days) with my fellow co-workers and shredding the slopes in the wintertime. My love of country music brings just the right amount of charm to the office.

Fun fact: I’m competitively ranked as a rock climber. A pretty daring feat and equally ironic because, well, I’m actually scared of heights.
