My name is Vuyo Gqwetana, and I am a third-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) student at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in English and History. Becoming a teacher has always been about more than earning a qualification for me, it is an opportunity to inspire, support, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

I have a strong interest in English language and literature, History, and innovative teaching methods that make learning engaging and enjoyable. I enjoy working with learners, helping them develop confidence, critical thinking, and a love for learning. Throughout my teaching journey, I have developed valuable skills in communication, teamwork, lesson planning, and classroom management through both my university studies and practical teaching experiences.

I believe that every learner has the potential to succeed when they are encouraged and supported in a positive learning environment. As a future educator, I hope to motivate learners to achieve their goals while continuing to grow professionally and make a positive contribution to the South African education system
