Valentina is a multidiciplanary self-taught artist attempting to innovate by exploring a fusion of ancient shamanistic thinking and Jungian psychological concepts through materials and processes to bring out subconcious dreams and symbols. By focusing on the emotions evoked by the memories of catastrophic events, either personal or universal - her paintings and objects become imbued with vibrant colour of intention thus producing expressions of these confrontations in her life. The overcoming of hardship and trauma is central to what drives Valentina to create.
