My flute is very precious to me and it represents my love for music and musical instruments. I have been playing the flute since I was nine years of age in fourth grade and my passion for music continues to grow and develop. I have the desire to pursue music for my entire life, if not as a career then as a hobby. I still remember the day I received my first sterling silver, intermediate flute. It was a time when I was just getting used to an extremely difficult piece we were playing in band. It was called Celebrations and it was a grade 6. My mother, my brother, and I went on a trip to the nearest All-County Music store and we managed to get a good sale price on it. It was almost half the price, but all I remember was being so happy to finally have a professional flute. It even had a gold-plated head joint I started playing it right when I got home and before I put it away, I even cleaned it with cloth to make sure it was spotless. Being a flautist is something I feel skilled in and so I enjoy it.
