Taylor Andrews
My name is William Taylor Andrews, but I prefer to go by my middle name, "Taylor." I was born and raised in a suburb of Altus, Oklahoma. My parents are George and Sherry Andrews, an E.R. doctor and a nurse, respectively. I have three other brothers: two of them are away at college, while the youngest, Christian, is a student here at SHS.
I have a few hobbies, although most of them are centered around music. Music is my life; without it, I'm not sure I would exist. I enjoy playing a few different instruments, although drums are my main instrument. My spare time is spent playing, building, and thinking about drums. Drumming is the rhythm of my life. I've played in a few bands around town; we mostly play live in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Connecting with other musicians is the greatest feeling in the world.
My goals for my life mainly consist of being satisfied with who I am and doing what I like to do. A short-term goal I have for this year is to teach the younger students on the school drumline about music and how rewarding it is. When I graduate, I hope they will remember what I've taught them. Some long-term goals include playing in a successful band, attending college, and living the way I want to.
