WaLSA is a nonprofit organization that represents the interest of the owners of the former Washington State Liquor Stores and Contract Liquor Stores. Overview The foremost goal of the Association is to protect the liquor store owner members' interest by actively participating in the legislative and regulatory processes of Washington State liquor laws. The Association will initiate making of new laws or revisions to the existing laws or regulations that will protect the interest of our members. Another important goal of the Association is to improve the business environment wherein our member stores operate, by securing better prices from liquor manufacturers and distributors for its members, by developing new, more efficient and more competitive business model for independent liquor stores, and by offering group discount programs which will afford the best services at reduced rates. Who can be a member of the WSLSA? Any SLS or CLS spirits retail licensee, including any individual, partnership, limited liability company, or corporation, may become a member of the Association by paying the required membership dues and satisfying any other requirements established by the Board of Directors
