As a semi-professional trumpet player, I enjoy volunteering my time performing music for local churches and other community organizations.

Along with my wife, Melanie, who plays bells, we attend First Baptist Church, work at Elon University and live in Burlington, North Carolina.

Besides regularly performing with our home church's wind ensemble, directed by Rev. Joel Marshall, we perform with Grove Park Baptist's wind ensemble, directed by Rev. Roger Roach in Burlington as well as with the North Carolina Baptist Singer's Orchestra. I also play in the Alamance Jazz Band, directed by Bob Byrd.

I encourage anyone with any musical ability to seek out opportunities in their communities to share their talents with others!
