Fiona Wachera is a media strategist, photo editor, and Storytelling & Content Specialist at the Aga Khan University.

Wachera has collaborated with storytelling teams at Everyday Africa, Pulitzer Center, Black Women Photographers, Royal Meteorological Society, recently serving on the juries for the 2024 World Press Photo contest, the 2024 Standard Chartered Weather Photographer of the Year and the 2024 Hamburg Portfolio Review.

Wachera is also a comic artist, having produced a series of period comic books titled 'Tunu's Gift'.
