Wade Benich

My name is Wade Benich and I am from Marietta, Georgia. I was born into a sports orientated family and sports became all I knew for a large portion of my life. I started at the ripe age of 5 years off playing tee ball and soccer. There were many car rides where I would forget my cleats and would end up getting reprimanded. By the age of 7 I started getting more seriously into baseball as-well as football. At this point sports were where i found my friends and it became all I did. As time continued I quit everything else and focused on baseball until I was about 13 when I found the sport of lacrosse. Lacrosse was the fast pace characteristic that baseball severely did't have. I completely quit baseball and it was the greatest decision of my life. Lacrosse gave me a family who wasn't blood related. I continued to play lacrosse throughout middle school, and when I got to high school I made the varsity team as a freshman. The last 4 years of my life were the greatest so far and it was a big part because of lacrosse.
