Wade K. Wicks

My name is Wade Wicks, and I am currently a Senior at Binghamton University of New York. I come from a diverse background of interests, and I am at my best when I am fully engaged in a dynamic project. Marketing became a particular interest of mine through my time as a vocalist and manager of various bands, mostly hard rock and metal.

The curiosity which grew from my passion within music quickly converted to marketing within Politics and Business. My vision is unique and my execution is unorthodox but efficient. I am currently the Head of the Marketing Department on behalf of the Binghamton University Television station. I am currently overseeing the re-creation of the BTV brand and involved in a series of projects to launch some musicians with high potential into the beginings of their musical careers.

In the less personal lens, I am a student who has worked his way to where I am from Suffolk Community College. I am very fortunate to have met a wide network of active leaders, to whom I can thank for constantly pushing me and expecting the same thing in return. If you knew only three things about me, it would likely be that I am a very effective communicator, a dynamic and proven leader, and that people are my forte. This is not a statement made in the way which a computer scientist or engineer may refer to machines, I simply recognize the immense value and fufillment which comes from working with people to overcome problems and develop solutions. I am old enough to get tired of being called an Old Soul all my life, and young enough to learn quickly and actively in any group of which I am a part.

If you feel that my qualifications span all across the board than you are right! On that note, if you need a vocalist for thrash metal or clean rock singing, turns out I may be your guy too.
