Hello! I'm Amanda. I am a high school English teacher living in Michigan. I love my job and living in a small town. I am actively involved in my school by advising our National Honor Society students, assisting coach the varsity girls and boys tennis teams, and volunteering my time taking tickets at varsity football games. Often you will find me in the stands at my student's extra-curricular activities for example the school play, music concerts, sporting events, Robotics competitions and much more.

I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two beautiful nieces who take up the majority of my spare time. I spend a lot of time outdoors riding bikes, going for runs, gardening, and spending time with my dog, Charlie Girl.

When I graduated from high school I attended Trine University where I earned a B.A. in Business Administration. I then decided teaching was the correct career path for me so I went on to Spring Arbor University to gain my teaching certification. I recently finished my Masters in Education from Michigan State University. You can view my portfolio with a click on the button above. Enjoy!
