Wai Leng Tan

I am a Talent and Performance, Management Specialist. In the last 20 years, I have worked with high-performing professionals and talents from various industries ranging from Finance and Banking, Oil and Gas, GLC, FMCG, Professional Services, Hospitality, Telecommunication, and Agrofood.

My work takes her deep into studying what separates high performers and high potential from the rest. These rich experiences power my effort at helping talents grow in their career. Certified in Hogan Assessment, I focus my coaching effort at helping talents deep dive into and harness their emotion, personality, and values to enable greater personal and leadership effectiveness.

When I'm not busy coaching, I help senior business leaders at developing and implement talent management and performance management framework and practices. These works are a crucial part of her effort at fostering an ecosystem that would enable individual talents to thrive and the organization to be increasingly adept at building a talent pipeline and raising leadership performance.

When Wai Leng is not busy designing and training, she consulted with and help senior business leaders at developing or improving their performance management framework and practices. These efforts foster an ecosystem that would support talents’ identification, growth, and retention – leading to a more robust talent pipeline.

A fan of the late Peter Drucker, I subscribe to Drucker’s advice that one ought to begin building parallel careers while in their first career. Hence I am ever so busy building my mothering career, fabricating fantastic fiction bedtime stories for my rambunctious 9-year-old son, and figuring out a new move for her next play fight with him. A psychology enthusiast, Wai Leng would spend her leisure time reading about personality and cognitive science. She dreams of becoming a psychologist when she retires from her first two careers.
