Waiz Akhtar

As a business student at the University of Toronto and living in Toronto, my goal is to be working at the financial district of Toronto as a financial analyst. I am a hard worker and a versatile individual who strives for continuous success.

I am currently enrolled in the Digital Enterprise Management specialist program at UofT Mississauga but to broaden my business knowledge, I am also completing an Economics Major. Putting the two programs together puts me ahead of the competition as my knowledge with regards to the business and financial world is greater.

Moreover, my previous work experience is a huge asset to my skills as I have had numerous different jobs. I started my working career as a tele-researcher where I conducted interviews and received feedback from various clients. Following that, I became a customer service representative at Best Buy and then Wal-Mart. However, my relevant finance related experience came when I began working for TD as a customer service representative.

I pride myself on being able to juggle many different projects at once and completing them to the best of my abilities. I see it as an opportunity to further develop my skills for future applications.
