I am a mother. I am the kisser of boo-boos, the master of meltdowns, the chaser away of monsters from under the bed and my 4-year-old best friend in the whole wide world. The feeling is mutual, most days.

I am the News Editor at a small-town weekly newspaper called The Review. I am a journalist/photographer. I have been a journalist/photographer for 14 years now.

I am a blogger, as well as an activist, warrior and lover of Mother Nature and all her creations.
