Wakon Roberson

Wakon Roberson is currently a junior at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, majoring in Kinesiology. Being one of four siblings growing up on a farm in the rural area of Ten Mile, Tennessee he was raised with a very humble background. Roberson has always been a hard worker with a very task oriented mind set. During Roberson's spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, and watching the University of Tennessee’s football team.

Roberson's career goal is to someday become a successful physical therapist, in pursuit of someday opening his own practice. Roberson is currently pursuing an internship with a physical therapy clinic to broaden his knowledge about his future career. After graduating from UTK, Roberson plans on attending physical therapy school somewhere close to home.

While in college, Roberson has received the HOPE, SAS, and Transfer Scholarships. He is also currently a member of the Native American Student Association, and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. Roberson has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Roberson is very active in his school's intermural sports program including, flag football, basketball, and softball. In his free time he chooses to play these sports as often as possible.
