Wale Adekanbi is an Award winning Designer/Animator for NBCUniversal. He has extensive experience in designing compelling and effective visual communications in all mediums from concept to completion. Wale has a strong commitment to creative excellence that exceeds client expectations. Wale is an out of the box thinker who focuses on the big picture while emphasizing the fine details. As Lead designer on numerous projects responsibilities includes project management, client relations, conceptual development, art direction and execution of deliverables. With over 15 years of experience in Design, Wale’s goal is to create compelling graphics while fostering an atmosphere of teamwork.

Wale has won several awards that includes a BDA Silver award for Award Winning “House of Cards” documentary in 2010 and an Emmy Award for Award Winning “Inside the Mind of Google” documentary in 2009. He has led teams on numerous network redesigns and new show creations.

Wale is also the Co-Chair of Communications for the Tri-State NBCUniversal Black Professional Alliance. Seeing a void in social media for BPA, Wale created an active presence for BPA in social media. He also leads the committee on logistics to create company-wide events that promote and foster a strong Black employee base at NBCUniversal. In his role, Wale markets and art directs all events from BPA using email campaigns, flyers, posters, and social media.

Wale received a BFA in Graphic Design with Computer Graphics Specialization from The College of New Jersey.
Wale is an avid sport fan. He currently resides in Hackensack, New Jersey with his wife and two children
