Walker Thompson

I am a 5th year architectural engineering student with a focus on structural engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. I graduate with my B.S. in the fall of 2015 and intend on pursuing a M.S. in structural engineering starting in the spring of 2016. In addition to my academic achievements, I have experience in working for both a structural design firm and a general contractor, giving me a diverse exposure to and understanding of the building industry and the role of the structural engineer therein. Additionally, I currently work as an undergraduate research assistant at Ferguson Structural Engineering Laboratory where I help PhD students on their research projects.
