Today I am a a married father of 3 amazing children. I'm an entrepreneur operating a number of businesses, servicing a people all over Australia.

But that's obviously not where I started...

My journey into the financial advice industry actually started when I was a teenager. Mum and Dad were small business owners. Dad drove a truck and Mum ran day to day operations. I was fortunate to grow up on a loving home and my siblings and I never went without. That said, there was always angst in our house when it came to money.

The truck lease, the fuel bill, the tyres, taxation & insurance. This was all before you got to the mortgage and raising 3 kids. You do not understand it all as a teenager but you knew financial pressures were there.

When designing my life, I reflected upon all of this. I recall thinking…. If I could help others avoid the traps and pitfalls my parents fell into (whatever they were) then maybe I might like that.

Hence why I do what I do today.
