Having worked in various roles over the last 10 years I have progressed from being a retail assistant in Dunnes Stores Cornelscourt where I applied for a position in the storeroom. I got the opportunity to carry out forklift training. At this point I moved to an injection moulding factory where I continued to be a forklift operator and also received various certificates for manual handling/first aid and fire marshal training. From here I moved on to Greenstar waste where I continued to be a machine operator and I received a further 3 training certificates for bigger machines. At this time I decided to be a mechanic so I attended a 6 month pre apprenticeship course while also working in a garage to gain work experience. After which I completed a mechanical apprenticeship (4 years) at a main dealer. in 2011 i decided to start an IT and Communications course this gave a new found interest in computers and how they work. I then decided to take this further and enroled myself in a PC Maintainence and technical support course in the Senior College Dun Laoghaire starting in 2012 and finishing in 2013.
