Walter Gutierrez
I could write at least 10 books for each of the different stages in my life. Born in Managua, Nicaragua, moved to Caracas, Venezuela when I was one year old. Lived in Caracas for 11 years and inmigrated to the United States at the age of 12, after the overthrow of President Perez Jimenez. Bridgeport, Connetticut was my first home. The family could not get used to the snow, so we moved to sunny Los Angeles, California. I couldn´t speak English, so the nuns at St. Agnes Catholic School sent me with the first graders to learn English and took the rest of my classes regularly. I did the 4th, 5th and 6th grade in one year. The school called my parents when they found out that I had a way above average IQ. After St. Agnes, went to Mount Carmel High School, went to UC Davis for College and UWLA Law School. Never passed the bar.
By the time I was 24 years old, I was worth $3 Million dollars and by the time I was 29 I had turned it into $10 Million Dollars. Real Estate and numbers was my forte. I took advantage of the crash of the 70´s and took over properties that were in foreclosure, assumed the loans and sold the properties with no money down and took on a second mortgage in lieu of the down, giving me great profits. On my days hanging out at the Rainbow Bar and Grill, built a frienship with Mario, owner of Whisky´s Gazarri´s, Rainbow and everything else on the Sunset Strip.
Well, don´t want to tell the whole story, otherwise you wont buy the books.
My last adventure entails leading a legal battle against three of the major companies in the world, Dole Food Company, Dow Chemical Company and Shell Chemical Company, that after thirteen years and $5 Million dollars invested, I have not been able to execute the $1.2 Billion dollars in judgements on behalf of 4200 Nicaraguan banana workers. I am executing the judgements in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, and shortly in Spain, taking advantage of the European Union Agreements on the enforcement of judgements accepted by a member nation. Since the head office of Shell is in Holland, that is a member state, we see an efficient and speedy way to execute the judgements. If any one of you reading this, are willing to participate in this adventure, please feel free to contact me: US 323 375 6362 or Nicaragua 505 8817 3319 or write [email protected]
Too bad that I have to go back to work, otherwise I would tell you another one of my true stories.
