Walter Holliday
I think the love of my life is learning. Just about everything that captures my interest is slowly sucked into my brain. In college, I kept changing my major because everything I was exposed to struck this somewhat mysterious chord embedded somewhere deep within my soul. Consequently, it took nearly one third of my life to escape college. What fulfillment my life has become due to this overwhelming desire to learn. My philosophy and ideology is a whirlwind composed of conflicting and yet unified points of view. This has helped me accept and understand what may have once been foreign and enigmatic. Ecology has helped me to understand the interconnectedness of the world. Industrial engineering gave rise to an understand efficiency and waste. Computer science gave my mind visions of systems and subsystems; each requiring resources and connectivity. The more technical my life has become, the more connected to nature I have become as well. Some of my hobbies: • Scuba Diving • Flying • Ham Radio/Electronics • Fly Fishing/Falconry • Meditation/Yoga • Gardening/Backyard Chickens • Beekeeping
