I am a naturally inquisitive and cognitive thinker that gets energised with a sense of adventure when confronted with a new challenge. My omnipresent sense of duty drives me to create value through pragmatic solutions in a balanced, controlled manner.

I am self driven and enjoy working at my own pace, but remain sensitive towards the needs of my colleagues. I therefore excel in small teams where I can control the focus. I have the ability to break complex problems down into workable pieces, thereby bringing order and structure to chaos. Ultimately I love finding and implementing creative solutions for new problems. I strive for constant development and improvement, not only for myself, but also within the team environment.

- Optimising compressed air and dewatering systems in the mining industry
- Conducting energy audits and feasibility studies for mining, mineral processing and cement industries
- Overseeing the technical, financial and manpower aspects of 4.5MW in power reduction projects
- Managing a team of five engineers: implementing 15 projects and assessing 70 completed projects
- Developing a specialist team of 10 engineers focused on energy efficiency incentives
- Quantifying 12+TWh in EE savings valued at R8200+ million in tax certificates
- Leading R&D analytics on GHG emissions (50+ Mt CO2e p.a.) to quantify Carbon Tax liabilities
