Walter Dawydiak

Walter Dawydiak is a San Francisco entrepreneur, automotive enthusiast, and business owner whose career has centered on craftsmanship, trust, and long-term relationships. He is the founder and president of Cars Dawydiak, a luxury, exotic, and collector automobile dealership, restoration facility, and collision repair business that has served clients throughout Northern California for more than four decades.

In addition to Cars Dawydiak, Walter oversees Charles Henry Company, a San Francisco collision repair business with roots dating back more than a century, and Car Storage Marin, a specialized facility serving owners of collector and specialty vehicles. His work has given him extensive experience in vehicle restoration, collector car ownership, luxury automobiles, and the skilled trades that keep automotive history alive.

Walt has a particular passion for vintage Porsche models, including the Porsche 356 and long hood 911, as well as classic Jaguars, British military Land Rovers, and historically significant automobiles. He enjoys sharing insights on automotive history, restoration, business leadership, entrepreneurship, and the value of craftsmanship in an increasingly automated world.

Beyond business, Walter is committed to supporting employees, mentoring young people entering the trades, and giving back to the community through organizations that serve children, families, athletes, and environmental causes. He also enjoys outdoor fitness like cycling and running, as well as caring for and training large-breed dogs.
