Walter J. Viola

Walter J. Viola here. I'm taking up my grad studies in psych at UC Berkeley. While I'm finishing my courses, I'm also training to be a family therapist. Contrary to popular belief, family therapy is not just about parents complaining about their misbehaving children. In reality it's about helping family members connect better and understand each other. It can be pretty challenging but fun especially when the members begin to bond.

Aside from family therapy, I'm also interested in studying children with special needs, young adolescents, verbal and non-verbal communication, and stress management. I believe these areas are significant subject matters especially with regards to developing a person's identity.
