Walter Wallace

The 2015 “Maine Principal of the Year,” Walter Wallace holds a bachelor of arts in psychology from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, and both a master of science in education with a literacy endorsement and a certificate of advanced study in educational leadership from the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. Over the course of his administrative career, Walter Wallace has served tenures as principal of the Robert P.T. Coffin School in Brunswick and Harrison Elementary School in nearby Harrison.
Since 2003, Mr. Wallace has led the daily activities of students and staff as the principal of Brunswick Junior High School. He spearheaded a complete revitalization of the school climate to make it more inviting and welcoming. He also boosted parent involvement at Brunswick Junior High and reorganized the structure of the school's faculty to increase efficacy and efficiency. Since May of 2019, he has advised other organizations on educational matters as the president of WB Education, LLC.
