My name is Jay and I'm a writer. So here's my story, somewhat.
I LOVE TRAVEL!

A slightly longer Cliff Notes version:

After leaving the military after 8 years (yikes!) of honorable service, I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Adelphi University in the lovely Garden City Long Island.
After much personal reflection questioning my potential future in the medical field and feeling the insatiable gnaw of writing during every waking moment, I've decided to take a step away from my studies and pursue more of my writing. Be it a fluke or failure, success or sensation. I'm all in folks. No turning back now!

My military and student travels had taken me to various places throughout the U.S. and the world and along the way I have had the opportunity to connect with amazing and unforgettable individuals.
I've always placed emphasis on volunteer service with local communities and adventure. I'm a thrill seeker! My best memories are when I was working free of charge with a meaningful organization or exploring the awe inspiring surroundings.
So I figure: Why not share with the world these great volunteer and adventure opportunities just waiting out there? Maybe someone would like to have their own inspiring experiences to share with the world!

So buckle up, Buckaroos! Here are the wayward crusades and stories of a Latina writer, trying to make it or break it in this loco world.
Whether out of the country or out of my mind, it'll all make for one heck of a story!
