With almost four years of work experience in the fisheries management sector, I am currently a master's student candidate at SFU's School of Resource and Environmental Management. My interdisciplinary research uses an adaptive management approach to test the potential of transplanting Pacific herring spawn - based on First Nations local ecological knowledge - for the purpose of rebuilding populations on BC's Central Coast.
