Waqas Bhatti

A Chicago-based retail sales professional, Waqas Bhatti has held a number of sales and management positions. Since 2008, he has worked as a produce buyer for First Produce Inc., where his up-to-date knowledge of weather, supply and demand, and market trends helps him source and obtain high-quality produce. For the past three years, Waqas Bhatti has led the company in total sales and profits.

Prior to joining First Produce, Mr. Bhatti was an operations manager for Deluxe Transportation Logistics, Inc., a trucking company in Wadsworth, Illinois. As a certified Master Freight Broker for the company, he set up major accounts with top-ten brokers across the United States and increased the workforce from one owner-operator to four in his first year alone.

Waqas Bhatti earned a dual bachelor’s degree in finance and management from DePaul University in Chicago. An avid sports fan, he holds season tickets for the Chicago Bulls and also enjoys following the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Blackhawks.
