Cllr. Warren-Andrew Ward, born in New Ferry. Son of small business owner, Andrew Ward and Clare Ward.
He attended Grove Street Primary School, then Saint John Plessington in Bebington and then The Wirral Sixth Form College where after 3 months he left to pursue an apprenticeship within the Rt.Hon Jane Kennedy's Office.
From a young age he attended Bebington Sea Cadets from which he rose to the highest rank possible within his division.
Warren was the first junior to ever receive the CPO Stephens Memorial Award for exceptional effort in T.S Seahawks long history. He also received the prestigious Commodores Pennant.
He left Sea Cadets to join the local youth club down the road. A building which he fell in love with.
Warren started volunteering for the youth club at the age 13 serving cold drinks to other young people. When in 2013, the youth club was under threat of closure, Warren started a campaign to save it.
After a very high profile campaign, his campaign was successful and every satelight youth club in Wirral and outreach service was saved as a result.
Warren shortly after the campaign joined the Labour Party. He was elected BLP Youth Officer at his second branch meeting where he worked with not just young members but with all young people in the area.
Warren was elected CLP Youth Officer and remained in post until he had to resign for 12 months due to his A-Political Role within the Police Commissioner's Office.
Warren worked as Jane Kennedy Apprentice-Assistant Private Secretary and worked on a number of prestigious projects.
He left his role within the commissioners office to join Labour's 2015 General Election Campaign. Warren was appointed Members & Volunteers Coordinator for the then Shadow Children's Minister, Alison McGovern MP. And he was also appointed a Parliamentary Campaign Manager and Agent in Lancashire being the UK's Youngest to hold to such a role.
After Labour's General Election Defeat, Warren was promoted to Vice-Chairperson of Wirral South Constituency Labour Party.
Warren was elected on Thursday 5th May as the Labour Councillor for Bromborough ward in January 2016. He won with 51% of the vote.
