Warren Langford

I'm a journalist/writer/podcaster living in Seattle. I currently work as a producer at 97.3 FM KIRO Radio. I compose scripts and edit sound clips in conjunction with a host to produce a three hour daily talk show. In June 2015 I completed an editorial internship for Seattle Weekly. There I wrote music and news articles in addition to over 40 music blurbs for the weekly calendar. My most prominent achievement there was a blog piece I wrote that went viral, garnering over 125,000 page views in two weeks. I continue to freelance for Seattle Weekly and I also have work published in The Stranger and Kaplan Quarterly.My pursuits outside of journalism include curating a monthly band showcase for Lo-Fi performance gallery. I also perform and compose in an ever changing amount of active bands.Previously, I worked at local Seattle indie video store On 15th Video for nine years, until it closed September 2014.I'm also pursuing an active interest in podcasting. I graduated with a B.A. in communication from University of Washington in June of 2015.
