I love technology! I love how it makes our lives easier by allowing us to communicate with people across the globe, access tremendous amounts of information in an instant, and make meaningful connections in large data. Computers give you the power to take tasks of enormous complexity and size and simplify them. I find this process very satisfying and interesting; yet very challenging. This is why I'm majoring in computer science at Rice University.
I'm a rising junior and currently exploring options after my undergraduate education. Lately, I have been very interested in startups and innovation. This is why I coordinated the very first hackathon at Rice which gave people a chance to discuss great ideas and develop them over the weekend. As vice president of the computer science club, I am leading initiatives to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students at Rice.
During my free time, I enjoy the company of my friends, explore new places to eat, and watch movies. I try to live a healthy lifestyle by working out regularly, playing racquetball. I also find it helpful to go out for a run to clear my mind.
