Wasiq Nadeem

Medical Student

Hi there! I'm Wasiq Nadeem, a 4th-year medical student at UT Health San Antonio with a deep passion for paying forward the opportunities I’ve been afforded and helping students navigate the struggles of the pre-medical application process and the first few years of medical school. I know what it’s like to navigate the medical school application process and initial years of medical school without proper guidance and advice and want to help others address these same pitfalls and struggles in applying for medical school and beyond. Learning from these struggles, I was fortunate to perform above 90th percentile on my MCAT and USMLE examinations and throughout my medical school curriculum. I have actively served on the admissions committee for UT Health San Antonio for the past three years, helping interview and select promising future medical students. Additionally, I take great pride as a tutor and advisor, guiding pre-medical and medical students in their educational journeys, many of whom have been accepted to their respective medical schools!

With years of experience in tutoring and advising, I have discovered a true passion for medical education and mentorship. I have extensive experience on my medical school admissions committee where I have played a part in interviewing and assessing incoming individuals, giving me a unique insight into what makes a strong applicant. I have also worked extensively with different medical education companies, including MedSchoolInsiders, and served as not only a tutor and advisor but also as recruiting director and blog editor – all roles that have helped hone and perfect my methods of mentorship, advising, and academic guidance. It is my goal and passion to help you achieve your goals in the most cost and time-effective ways possible!
