Wayne Watkins

Wayne Watkins is a theatre producer, director and acting coach. He also spent a very long time as a music industry executive with Capitol Records in the 80s and 90s, but can’t remember enough of those years to be able to say what he did, exactly. (If you remember the eighties, you weren’t really there. Or was that the sixties. Whatever.) He studied pre-law at university before deciding that making lots of money, taking regular vacations to the Cayman Islands and owning a wide variety of classic sports cars was no way to live. So, instead of law school, he went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and became an actor. An occasional film, some disease-of-the-week MOWs and, thank goodness, substantial stage work followed. Oh, yeah, and that accidental music industry thing.
